Jansen HMS-80(180) Hydraulic flail mower with hedge trimmer

The hydraulic flail mower HMS-80(180) from Jansen is a robust and versatile machine specially designed for professional landscape and green space maintenance. Thanks to its innovative swing arm, this flail mower is perfect for effective mowing and shredding of hard-to-reach areas such as verges, ditches and greenbelts along forests and roads. The 80 cm wide flail mower is equipped with pendulously suspended Y blades that ensure a perfect cut and optimally shred the clippings. This guarantees a clean finish and contributes to the health of the vegetation.

A unique feature of this implement is the included hedge trimmer / cutter bar, with an impressive working width of 180 cm. This can easily be mounted instead of the hydraulic flail mower, allowing you to trim tall hedges effortlessly and time-savingly. The material to be cut can be up to 2.5 cm in diameter.

The drive of the HMS-80(180) attaches to the three-point linkage (cat. 1) of your tractor and requires a PTO shaft speed of 540 rpm. It has its own 55-litre hydraulic oil tank, so you only need to connect the PTO shaft. An articulated drive shaft is supplied as standard. Operation is via a convenient control unit with control levers, whose hose package is long enough to mount it in an accessible place in the tractor cab. A height-adjustable trailing roller at the rear of the flail mower and adjustable sliding shoes allow precise adjustment of the cutting height.

Due to its relatively low weight, this flail mower ideally suited to small and compact tractors with power ratings from 25 hp upwards, making it an ideal choice for various agricultural and municipal applications.
